Know when a brand’s usage rights expire.

Track paid usage-rights and whitelisting terms for each creator deal, then prepare a renewal email or re-license invoice when content keeps running past the agreed window.

No spam. We use Loops.so to store your email, survey answer, and campaign attribution parameters if present, only for License Ledger early access and demand validation. See the Privacy Policy.

The problem

Creators often sell 30-day, 90-day, or paid-ad usage rights as a separate line item. After the campaign, those terms usually live in email threads, PDFs, spreadsheets, and calendar reminders — exactly where expiry dates get missed.

How it works

1
Log each usage-rights deal
Save the brand, content, channels, paid/organic scope, start date, expiry date, and agreed usage fee in one ledger.
2
Get expiry reminders
Receive D-30, D-7, and D+1 reminders so you can check whether the brand is still using the asset before the term ends.
3
Draft the follow-up
Generate a renewal email or re-license invoice draft from the original terms, ready to review before you send it.

What it does

Usage-rights fields, not a generic CRM
Track paid-ad rights, organic reposting, territory, duration, renewal terms, and fee notes per asset.
Expiry timeline
See active, expiring, and expired usage windows without maintaining a spreadsheet and calendar in parallel.
Re-license invoice drafts
Turn an expired term into a follow-up invoice draft based on the original agreement and renewal price.
Creator-side by design
Built for the creator who sold the rights, not for the brand team managing a campaign database.

Without vs. with License Ledger

Without it
  • Usage terms scattered across emails, PDFs, and spreadsheets
  • Calendar reminders that do not include the contract context
  • Manual renewal emails written from scratch
  • Brand-side rights tools that do not help creators invoice overuse
With License Ledger
  • One ledger for every paid usage-rights window
  • Expiry reminders with the original deal terms attached
  • Renewal and re-license invoice drafts ready to review
  • A creator-side workflow focused on getting paid for continued use

FAQ

Is this legal advice?
No. License Ledger prepares organized reminders and invoice/email drafts from the terms you entered. You should review anything legal or contentious with a qualified professional.
Do you detect whether my content is still running in ads?
Not in the first version. The first workflow is a reliable ledger and reminder system; automatic ad detection is intentionally out of scope until the manual workflow proves demand.
Who is this for?
Creators or UGC producers who already charge for usage rights, paid-ad rights, whitelisting, or renewals. If you rarely sell those terms, the free tier may be enough.
When does it launch?
We are validating demand first. Waitlist members will be contacted for early access and founder-led onboarding before a public launch.
Can I import my existing spreadsheet?
Spreadsheet import is planned if enough waitlist members already track multiple active rights windows.
What is the main validation question?
Whether enough creators have multiple active usage-rights windows at the same time to justify a subscription instead of a one-off template.
